Has Charlize Theron Already Teased Doctor Strange 3? Clea Star declares that she “has some work to do.”
While Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness included a tonne of MCU characters, Charlize Theron’s appearance in the movie’s opening post-credits sequence may have been the greatest cameo of them all.
Before taking on the role of Clea in the film, the South African actress had been speculated to be in the cast for a few months. Clea is a significant figure in Doctor Strange mythology from the comic books. Clea set up a fresh adventure that would probably be shown on screen in Doctor Strange 3 despite the fact that she only had a few words, slashing up a doorway to her home in the Dark Dimension before leaping in with Strange.
Doctor Strange 3 hasn’t been officially confirmed by anybody outside of Marvel’s core crew, despite the Multiverse Saga having a tonne of additional movies and TV programs confirmed for production. However, an interview with Theron, who is now one of the newest A-list actors in the MCU, may have significantly altered that.
Clea Star Hints About Upcoming Doctor Strange3 Film?
Actress Charlize Theron, who plays Clea in the MCU’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, teased her imminent return on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Theron and Kimmel had an amusing conversation about her being in the movie, but for the first few questions, she didn’t make any particular comments beyond “I don’t know” and a shrug. She said that she hoped it wouldn’t be a waste of her time as an actress, though:
Kimmel: “You had a little part in the Doctor Strange movie, which you were also in.
“Well, I don’t know,” Theron said. Still not. Yeah.”
Kelly: “… I like those Marvel Comics and that stuff, but when a famous actor unexpectedly appears as a character you weren’t expecting to see, you ask, “Surely that can’t be it.” Can you confirm that it is it?
Theron: (shrugs) (shrugs)
No, Kimmel said. Okay. But it’s not the case. If that’s all there is, it would be a waste of your time.
Theron: “I certainly hope not. But, certainly, we’ll see.
After viewing the interview where she discussed her efforts on the movie, she also humorously expressed her hopes that Marvel wouldn’t “alter their mind” about casting her in the part:
“You know or are you unsure whether it’s it?” Kimmel asked.
Theron: I believe I am aware. If not, I mean. Depending on what I say about this program, I’m certain that they may alter their minds.
She only said that she plays Clea when questioned about her character in the film, but she also teased more for the questioner by hinting that she “[had] some work to do:” She also revealed that she doesn’t exactly know who her sorceress is yet but will do so soon.
I see, Kimmel. Okay. Yes, and Disneyland wouldn’t let you inside on Halloween. Yes, it would be a complete disaster. What do you understand about your personality? Clea, what details about the persona can you share with us?
“I play Clea,” Theron said.
“And that’s it,” said Kimmel.
Let’s just say that Theron has some work to do. Though I will, I don’t exactly know who she is yet.
When will Doctor Strange 3 be released on the MCU?
Despite the fact that Doctor Strange 2 became one of the Multiverse Saga’s most important films, there have been no reports or speculations that hint to if or when Doctor Strange 3 would be produced.
There are still a number of possible opportunities for Benedict Cumberbatch and Charlize Theron to reunite in a solo film since there are still a few Phase 6 movie release dates that haven’t been revealed. Additionally, given that the Multiverse is in a state of turmoil and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are in need of a pair of accomplished magicians, it is quite possible that they will appear in one or both of the next Avengers films.
Since her scene initially came to light, Theron has expressed her delight about portraying Clea, and she is the most probable candidate to co-star with Strange in a prospective third film. Nobody knows when that movie will be released, but Theron seems very positive that Marvel has plans for the niece of Dormammu sooner rather than later.
