Marvel’s latest series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has proved to be very popular with its funny accents, likeable characters, and insane sense of humour. But as the old saying goes, you can’t please everyone.
This sentiment certainly pervades the MCU, as Jane Walters, aka She-Hulk, has faced opponents since publicly arriving on the scene in-universe. Internet comments appearing in various episodes have led to frequent complaints about the character, as have some groups in the real world.
In the show’s sixth episode, Jane’s best friend Nikki Ramos discovers a website known as IntelliGencia, an online hate group that primarily deals with humiliation and humiliation of specific sections of the population. . As it turned out, the site had an entire section dedicated to She-Hulk. And now it looks like the group has a relationship with a notable MCU villain from the movies.
Ulysses Kluae: Agent of Intelligencia
In Marvel Studios’ 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron, as the team rummages through the archives, trying to find where the titular maniacal robot fled, they find a take on Andy Serkis’ Ulysses Claw. come to file. Listed under the character’s past affiliation is none other than Intelligencia. Claw didn’t have much of a part in Age of Ultron, but he did play a role in Black Panther in 2018.
Now, of course, it’s worth noting that one of the pervasive stories on She-Hulk is the thread of someone trying to steal Jane’s gamma-irradiated blood. By the end of Episode 6, it appears that Walters’ attractive future boyfriend is in the planning and gaining her trust to obtain a blood sample.
In the closing seconds of the episode, it is revealed that Jennifer is being watched, with a live feed being displayed on a lab computer. Then, a message “Is the next phase of planning ready to go?” pops up on the screen. It’s at this point that the camera moves to a high-tech syringe that was precisely designed to pierce She-Hulk’s ultra-tough skin.
It is almost certain that this lab belongs to Intelligencia, which, in the comics, is a group of super-intelligent supervillains who are primarily interested in exchanging dangerous secrets and plans.
An interesting MCU connection
So, to be fair, it’s highly unlikely that Marvel Studios was thinking much ahead when they added a reference to Intelgenia in Klau’s file in Age of Ultron. But now, the MCU can use what was a lot of inclusion and expand it into something that fits the larger story.
Perhaps at one point, Intelginsia in the MCU was actually made up of a bunch of like-minded bad guys, but decided to rebrand into the hate site seen in She-Hulk in the modern era, perhaps reaching out to new members and potentially fanatics. as a way of making.
So, who’s calling the shots in Intelligencia? And why do they want Jane’s blood so badly? It’s safe to say that these questions will be answered in the form of Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, its final three episodes, with episode 7 airing Thursday, September 29 on Disney+.
