Will Deadpool 3 have a huge budget? Ryan Reynolds replied
Marvel Studios movies and Disney+ series are famously made under insane budgets, with an average production budget of around $200 million. The comic book genre has long been associated with these insane budgets, but there are exceptions, such as the Joker and Deadpool.

You don’t want to put your finger on one scale that’s obscene in some way, but you’re looking to build a team that you can actually build and maintain for a really long time, you’re trying to build a

The Deadpool star continued to turn “every obstacle… [and] every moment the studio took away money” into something positive, and is taking a similar approach to the upcoming threequel:
“Every obstacle we were up against, every moment the studio snatched the money we needed for our budget, we found ways to turn it into lemonade, and that’s how we’re definitely getting closer to this project.”
Is Deadpool 3 the most expensive ever?
Deadpool was made for just $58 million before the sequel was raised to $110 million, and the third installment should take things a step further. This should be especially so when the first two films combined made $1.5 billion at the box office, becoming the two highest-grossing films in Fox’s entire X-Men catalog.
But as Ryan Reynolds asked the interviewer to ask Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige the same question, he might not even have a final budget figure yet.
With Deadpool 3 being made under Marvel Studios and Disney, unlike 20th Century Fox, Reynolds should have more money than ever to work, even if he finds it unnecessary. After all, the cheapest movies in the MCU, the two Ant-Man flicks, were made under a $130 million price tag.
But as Reynolds shares his belief that big budgets and the lack of barriers to “killing creativity” to overcome, he may not be so eager to work under such a huge amount. Ultimately, as the Deadpool icon said, these constraints are creative solutions, leading to a more unique end result.
Nonetheless, he will almost certainly be offered an increased budget, especially after the first two films were financially successful on such a small budget. Perhaps that extra money will be going towards Hugh Jackman, who earned an estimated $20 million per Foxverse film and will likely see a bump to his return.
