Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot Opens Up for Marvel Movie Role
Gal Gadot has been a mainstay of the DCEU since her first appearance as Wonder Woman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Since then, the actress has appeared in several films made under the DC banner, such as two Wonder Woman solo outings and its famous Justice League films.
In addition to playing a larger role in the wider DCEU, Gadot has transitioned to Disney to portray the Evil Queen Grimhilde, another major character in a retelling of the animated classic Snow White. The Fast Five actress previously shared that the role is “different than anything [she] has ever [done] before.”
Now, Gadot has revealed more about his new role, teasing a potential Marvel future. In an interview with Access recently, DCEU star Gal Gadot at the D23 Expo expressed her interest in a possible crossover between Wonder Woman and the Avengers.
Gadot first shared her reaction to playing the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Snow White, describing it as “wonderful” and “delightful:”.
I’m quite excited to begin. “Okay, let’s move on? First of all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to play this superhero villain. It was amazing. It was amazing and enjoyable and I enjoyed every single moment of it.” Took it. “It was a lot of fun.” ,
The DC actress then revealed that she is “open” to appearing in a Marvel movie, pitching a project where “Wonder Woman appears in Avengers and Avengers appears in Wonder Woman:”
Maybe we can do something like, as you know, Wonder Woman appears in Avengers and Avengers appears in Wonder Woman. We’ll see, I mean I’m open. I’m all about love and I like my friends at both DC and Marvel. Then we’ll see.”
Will Gal Gadot Play Another Marvel Hero?
Gal Gadot’s enthusiastic response to a potential Marvel and DC crossover is an exciting one. This is also in line with Dwayne Johnson’s previous interest in crossovers with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which he called “optimistic” that this could happen in the future.
While this “dream crossover” isn’t expected to happen any time soon, the fact that the DCEU’s major stars are open to the idea could lay the groundwork for a future project unveiling.
In addition to crossovers, Gadot’s talent and acting prowess made him a prime candidate to join the MCU for another comic-book movie role. It remains to be seen how long the actress will play the DCEU’s Wonder Woman, but if she decides to hang up the shoes, Marvel could welcome her in the future.
Many have said that an ideal role for Gadot is Electra or one of the mutants, preferably Mystic. Meanwhile, others have suggested Elsa Bloodstone as well. This makes it clear that Gadot has a great future under the Marvel umbrella.

The next DC Comics film to hit theaters will be Dwayne Johnson-led Black Adam. Johnson recently revealed that he had a chance to speak with ComicBook.com while promoting his film, where he revealed that he thinks Henry Cavill is the Superman of our generation.
“I would say this. I would say that Henry is a friend and he is an extraordinary Superman,” says the actor. “He’s an extraordinary Superman and Henry Cavill is the Superman of our generation in relation to other Supermans from the past. Every time I look at him, we have some tequila and I say ‘This man is Superman.’ My longtime business partner Danny Garcia has been an avid advocate for Henry Cavill and his career for a very, very, very long time.”
